alaina was hte main girl in the story, her mother, eugene, eugenes mom,the jump ropers who called alaina names, president cennady who was assasanated,and juish couple who died.
The event that takes place is that the president gets assasenated and he was trying to help the immagrents have a better life.
she says this because she doent want alaina to get hurt and eugenes mom thinks that there better than them.
she doenst stop her bewcause she wants to fit in.
she is not a bad mom because she probally had to learn the same way.
eugenes motrher doesnt let her in because of her nationallity and were she lives and she thinks that eugene can have better friends than that.
